It’s a cool & overcast afternoon in Campbell’s Creek & I am out door knocking with nine other members of the Mount Alexander Sustainability Group. We could be at home, catching up on chores, hanging out with the kids, pulling out the weeds… or a million other things, but like hundreds of others, we are volunteering with the 100% renewable energy campaign in cities & towns right across Australia, and we are talking to people in their homes about renewable energy...

At last - the numbers add up, the comments are all typed in, and we are sending off our last batch of St John's Wood Sustainability 'conversation' results, before the results are tallied up to present to various politicians.

Labor MP Steve Gibbons makes a public statement indicating his personal support for the carbon price deal to deliver for renewable energy! 1 down, 71 (in the lower house!) to go!

Through door knocking, street stalls, workshop and forums we have spoken to hundreds of people in our community about making the transition to 100% renewable energy. Last weekend, along with hundreds of others around Australia, we went out and spoke to even more people about this critical issue.

Saturday morning... breakfast for the kids, make sure the birthday present is wrapped for # 3 who's going to a party, all heading in different directions, lifts sorted, with soccer or friends and 2 loads of washing on the line! The way is clear for me to join my buddies at Climate Change Balmain-Rozelle. We're heading out once again to ask people in our suburb what they think about renewable energy - and whether they think our Govt is doing enough. It's fascinating!

...and let me tell you, everybody loves renewable energy!..Seriously!
